SCHOLARSHIPS
In honor of Luke’s memory, we’ve established the Luke Abbate Memorial Scholarship to help other young people from Harrison High School in Powder Springs, Ga., achieve their dreams and reach their greatest potential.
Our first scholarship awards were made on May 24, 2008 — the day Luke would have graduated from Harrison High. A total of $24,000 was presented in that inaugural year to 11 deserving seniors based on a variety of criteria including academics, athletics and character — to help defray the cost of post secondary education.
We believe Luke would be happy knowing we are helping his peers.
